Sunday Sunshine For 1/10/10: Romans 5:1-5

(Note: This series is just dedicated to giving a thought of encouragement for those possibly going through difficulty or struggle. This post is in no ways trying to convince those to switch to another faith or drastically change their life style. And yes, for those who didn't know, I am Christian)
Oh Mary Mary....sing that classic again:

The return of Sunday Soulful, a spiritual moment for your soul here at The Whole Delivery Sunday and Weekend.

The word of the week, from the epistle to the Romans from Paul, looks at dealing with times of despair for those in the New Year (and hopefully, for the rest of your life):
1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

3And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

4And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

5And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Tribulation to patience to experience to hope.

Now who is one to glorify in tribulations? Who is the one that will jump for joy at being mired in stages you wouldn't wish on even your enemies.

In the worst possible moment where you have an unexpected death in the family or be a current victim of this recession or any other traumatic life experience, it's kind of crazy to think that you will glorify in those moments of sheer pain.

But life will throw those brutal moments to everyone in this world. And fighting through the situation of despair by just hanging in there and believing that things will get better is so paramount to getting out somber situations.

The road is not given to the swift, but to the steady is truly echoed in this section of Paul's letter to Rome.

Your own experience of dealing with adversity could be vital for someone enduring the same pain that you experienced.

And through this message is catered to the Christian audience as is the whole Sunday Soulful series, the message is for everyone. Including the atheist and the agnostic who may read this website much more than those who have the same faith as I do.

More words of dealing with faith when it is tested is more valuable than when everything is going right. It clearly shows to those outside of any faith that being apart of one doesn't guarantee the bad days are over. The struggle will in some ways continue with the wonderful, and it will vary with the wonderful as well.

But ironically, the struggle is also great. The bad days are also good days. Because your life experience grows regardless of the struggle because you are still somehow living through it. And if you can endure, gosh, that says a lot about how strong your character is, leading to a perfect testimony for someone about to take on the rocky road you just traveled.

That is the Sunday Sunshine for this week. This series will try its best to expand further.

With love to Jean Biden and all those who lost love ones this week, salutation and blessings to you. And to everyone else, God bless on this Sunday.)
