The HuffPost Live Review Show For 10/4/12: Because Teachers and Teachers Unions Don't Exist
This following segment is brought to you by the for-profit private industry with no need of mean old teachers unions, even if we are new, brash, and bold online TV media!
Now when we have a host who is a former Bloomberg aide in Jacob Soboroff, and a daughter of a benevolent but powerful centrist senator from New Jersey (and who is her own influential person in being a diligent Democratic TV strategist) in Alicia Menendez host a segment on education with just charter schools leaders and charter school advocates instead of any public school teachers or union leaders too, we get private industry love fests like this.
Who needs public schools teachers and those union leaders, they don't have any interests in the kids like big business caring charter schools, their CEOs, and their centrist Democratic or Republican buddies.
Our private loving, only half news media not only exist on cable and broadcast TV. It sadly exists at HPL for the moment as well. That is not a viable model of success for a great liberal online community. Or, at least it was "liberal."
