Sometimes You Have To Handle Your Own Business: Robert Gibbs Blew It Today

Not coming in defense of Sonia Sotomayor's supposed controversial comments, White House Press secretary Robert Gibbs says that she used a "poor choice of words" back in 2001. Watch it right below:

Ok, now here's what President Obama told NBC's Brian Williams tonight on his reaction to Sotomayor's comments:

Major difference between the two, and not because one is on C-Span and the other on NBC. Gibbs barely defended Sotomayor while Obama defended her comments much more.

For Gibbs to use the word "poor" was an absolute terrible decision on his part. I'll let BarbinMD fully express this:
That's just great. Buy into a rightwing, false talking point and apologize for it. Right down to agreeing with a Fox News reporter that she said she would "come to a better conclusion."

Read the damn speech, Robert and get your facts straight.

And as for what you think she'd say? Let her say it and don't put words in her mouth. Better yet, don't put Rush Limbaugh's word in your mouth.
It really shouldn't have come to this. But it did.
