7/11/09- TWD's Agenda For This Saturday: To Ghana They Go
U.S. President Barack Obama on Saturday deliver a major speech in the Ghanaian parliament in which he stressed the importance of democracy and governance in the African continent, according to reports reaching here. But Obama must have forgotten about the last eight years himself, since he didn't say that his country, our country, sure as hell wasn't doing that itself. And really, because of us "looking forward and not backward", we kind of still aren't doing it now either.
In his speech, Obama hailed Ghana for its democratic institutions, saying the west African nation is a model for other African countries across the continent.
The U.S. president said the African continent needs strong, democratic institutions.
Obama also said development of the continent depends on good governance.
Despite his busy week, Obama still had time to do his weekly address
And since it's Saturday, you know we had to have Luda!!!!
Saturday (Oooh! Ooooh!) - Ludacris
Lots to come today, peace.
