The Sleep Time and Rise "n" Shine Thread #2 For 7/13-14/09: The Op-Ed Of The Year

Eugene Robinson and E. J. Dionne sure couldn't produce this brilliance.

Neither the likes of centrist arrogant specialists David Broder or David Ignitaus.

Even Charles of Krauthammer (because you have to put the preposition in between his two names to give him his due respect) of all special people couldn't make these words happen.

And that Obama guy, pffffffttttt.

The op-ed of the year has been written, and it sure isn't written in the New York Times. It sure isn't written in the New York Post or Washington Times. And the Daily Kos front pagers would certainly be happy to have it be on their front pages (and it is sure to be linked by on Eschanton by Artios and not made fun of at Think Progress).

Ladies and gentlemen, the op-ed of the year has been written.

It starts off with a gem like this:
There is no shortage of threats to our economy. America's unemployment rate recently hit its highest mark in more than 25 years and is expected to continue climbing. Worries are widespread that even when the economy finally rebounds, the recovery won't bring jobs. Our nation's debt is unsustainable, and the federal government's reach into the private sector is unprecedented.
Columnists who can make shrewd observations and eloquently set the tone in an incipient stages of a column are certainly a rarity these days. Especially compared to the likes of this guy.

Nevertheless, it sets a tone of a literary masterpiece. Another fabolous highlight
I am deeply concerned about President Obama's cap-and-trade energy plan, and I believe it is an enormous threat to our economy. It would undermine our recovery over the short term and would inflict permanent damage.
I know Mika Brezinski has awaken to such glee that her "Real American" hero has penned such a jaw-dropping mastery of the lexicon. Her Starbucks will taste extra good this morning.

In a column highlighted by its conservative usage of the word "energy" so she could be true to her values (a record 16 times it was used in this column), the word liberal is mentioned
The ironic beauty in this plan? Soon, even the most ardent liberal will understand supply-side economics.
Warning us of those liberals indeed highlights the self-awareness of this writer not located in most of the elite media today. But then again, most of the elite media don't know how to fish either.

I suggest you, please read this column. It is one of the best hands down I have ever read, and to me, it will be hard to surpass its quality this year.

It even adds this little does of authenticity

And who is this writer, if you don't know and still need this link to find out who?

I wonder what Katherine harris is thinking. And take that Peggy "Reagan fangirl" Noonan.

I just love America.
