Another bad opening round for Tiger Woods today at Turnberry. He put himself in the hole at the Masters, and he did likewise at the US Open. And for a third consecutive time, he will probably need to shoot three flawless rounds in a row to to tie his friend Roger Federer for 15 big ones.

Tom Watson had a true flashback to the past day today with his tremendous 65 to place him one behind Miguel Angel Jimenez, who is at -6 and definitely set to win himself another major.
