Yeah MSNBC, Where is The Love To Carlos Watson?

If you have not watched MSNBC, take a peep at it now.
The channel has new hourly morning personalities, the aesthetics of the channel has changed and that is all good. The look is more slick, sleek, modern, which I like but I have a beef with MSNBC.
The channel is promoting its morning line up, starting with morning joe, then it's Dylan Ratigan and the Morning Meeting, then it is Dr. Nancy Snyderman's show. The problem is that Carlos Watson's hour is totally dissed. I mean like the man and his hour DON'T EXIST on MSNBC. What is that about?
Next, is how MSNBC is advertising the morning line up, VISUALLY. The ads running are Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, with Willie Geist, then Dylan Ratigan and his Morning Meeting, finally it is all about Dr. Nancy. Between Ratigan and Dr. Nancy's show is Carlos Watson and his hour. But there is no advertisement at all for Watson, NONE VISUALLY. How bogus is that?
I'm not the biggest Watson fan, as he is the usual reporter who tries to stay in the middle and play nice with all instead of doing his job all the time. However, he's a smart guy, has a great life story (check his wikipedia page) and he's been given the 11 AM hour by the network. So why won't the network even promote him properly?
And to add, where is the love for say, Tamron Hall as well? David Shuster gets put into to replace Olbermann on Countdown on some nights like this week, and Hall gets no love from the network after partnering with Shuster from 5 after? Instead, they choose Allison Francis as Rachel Maddow's replacement.
Now of course we don't know what's going on behind the scene unless your reading from MSNBC. But there are weird things going down over at that network.

Your points re: promoting their new lineup is right on target. Dr. Nancy? Puh-leeze. Watson has promise and deserves to be promoted equally. It comes down to, I'm sure, some marketing guy looking at demographics and ratings. Because in most cases these days, it's not about the news. The Fourth Estate continues to take quite a beating in the post-Bush era. Gret site - will be back!
