9/22/09: TWD's Agenda For The Day- More Than The Markups

This ad was all nice and good yesterday:

Good to attack President Snowe and all.

But the real issue is this today:

Where the real deals get cut, and where the favors get traded back and forth, is in private. The mark-up itself is little more than theater, a chance for everyone to give speeches and then march toward a pre-ordained conclusion."

As always, those backroom clandestine deals that we are all in the black about.

Hopefully the citizens of the nation won't gets screwed here because of these private meetings that have screwed the nation over so many times.
