The Sleep Time And Rise "n" Shine Thread For 9/22-23/09: Ridiculously Cruel

A special edition of TSTRNS first focuses on the heart wrenching moment:

We all knew how long Plaxico Burress was going to jail for since mid summer. But what we didn't know today how much going to jail for at least 20 months would feel for him and his family.

After seeing their emotional departure in the court room, that answered was soundly given to us all.

As Stephen A. Smith would say, you had to be nothing but a "heartless bastard" to feel no remorse for Burress doing his time in jail, facilitated by Emperor Bloomberg wanting to make a spectacle of him for political value for his gun law rules.

Sorry that hurt my gut a lot today.

Moving on, the CO-OP BS warriors will not give up to the bitter end. And as slink says, something needs to be done:
I'm looking to see if on Thursday at that Democratic caucus, the progressive members of the Democratic Party will actually stand up and call out the Blue Dogs on their bullshit for what it actually is--an scam about to be pulled on the American people. It's why we have to keep up our calls to the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and remind them precisely why they're supposed to be the leaders in this Democratic majority. It's time for them to start acting like winners instead of like losers.

Someone said in that thread this will be a rollercoaster week.....no question.

Awful day for Mike Ross documented by Rachel tonight:

O'Lielly is at it again:

Worst is the fact that Goldberg of all people called him out for it. Geesh.

A ghostshark found in you Cali people's world.

The wars between Scarborough and Beck continue.

Family Guy, coming back in style for season 7.

PeeWee Herman is on Twitter.

Please, anyone finding outrage outside of Redskins fans at Robert Hanson is a lame, like the person who wrote this mashable post.

No Tevin tonight, so, see you in the morning (or you are just waking up to this post). Peace.
