Sports Sunday Thread #2 For 12/20/09: NFL Week 15 Late Games

The Eagles are going to the playoffs again.

Thanks to their destruction of the Bears, the Ravens clearly have control of their playoff destiny.

You would be hard pressed to find out anyone who cared about Seattle and Tampa Bay. Hard pressed.

In the game of the day, Big Ben saves the Steelers season for the moment. And exempts his coach from asking questions about his question at least onside kick while being up by 2 in the late stages.

The Raiders steal another game late, this time against the Broncos (and this lost could hurt them), the Chargers are AFC West Champions.

But nothing was more soul stirring that what the Cincinnati Bengals showed as a team today, in the posthumous early period of Chris Henry.

And tomorrow, I'm going to have more on how insensitive and really appalling the National Football League is at the thoughts of even fining Chad Ochocinco if he wore Henry's number. Utterly disrespectful and shocking.
