The Straight Award Of The Day For 12/10/09: Truly A King Of A Fitted Size

Just a day after President Obama tells these morons to "stop scaring the American people", the comedy fest that is the House Republican nut cartel went and tried to scare the American people again today.

And a major leader of the fringe is the one and only Steve King.

Today, the fear-mongering nuttiness continued outside the Supreme Court over Gitmo detainees being tried in U.S. courts , and outshining the likes of Bachmann and Franks to name a few was Mr. ACORN-fighter.

Get ready to possibly laugh in exhaustion:
When a reporter pointed out that federal trials aren't televised, perhaps making the "megaphone" a little less likely, Republicans said there were other ways for terror suspects to peddle their propoganda from a U.S. courtroom -- for example, sketch artists.

"What we've seen happen is artists draw pictures and this will be written up and there are interviews outside the courtroom everyday and there will be defense attorneys taking the global stage," King said. "We are in an electronic era where they Internet and all these other media that we have will create a real time look at what's going on in New York."
Propaganda they will be able to create, by the work of local or national media outlets and their artists that are American as the court rooms the will be in.

Yeah, Prozac couldn't make you that delusional.

That is the mind-numbing WTF mentality of King and his House Republican cohorts (and a good bit of them like DeMint in the Senate).

King is seriously a candidate to take home The Straight Jacket Of The Year award. And while it maybe questionable on him taking the overall year award, he is without a doubt the winner of ......

.....Straight Jacket Award of the day.
