It's Okay If It's Blackwater or KBR/Halliburton

But ACORN though......get the crosses out!!!!!

Yeah, it's okay if you are illegal gutless whores instead of a (formerly) underfunded organization to still get funding and all from the government.

Especially if Republicans are in charge.
Last week's decision by Congress to to bar federal funding to ACORN was notable not only for the lopsided vote margins (83-7 in the Senate, 345-75 in the House) but also because it revealed a rarely-seen zeal in Congress for holding federal contractors accountable.

As my colleague Sue Sturgis reported last Friday, 23 of the very same House members who voted to strip ACORN of funding had opposed a measure to investigate scandal-plagued military contractor Blackwater, who had been implicated in killing 17 Iraqi civilians.

But the House isn't alone. Many of the same Senators who voted to de-fund ACORN have also opposed Congressional efforts to tighten rules and hold federal contractors accountable.

Case in point: In 2006, Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-ND) introduced the "Honest Leadership and Accountability in Contracting Act," an amendment to that year's defense bill. The bill called for sweeping reform of federal contracting, including new standards against fraud and abuse.

But the bill was quickly defeated by the Republican-led Senate:
Yup, who knew?

Those Republicans and their not so consistent ways, it is so entertaining, isn't it?

I guess it is because they scream all hard about ACORN only to look like dumb hypocrites again. Oh, we know that there was the usual hypocrisy going on here, but having these facts made readily available makes it even better, doesn't it?

So, as Dreck today (who also was shown to be, surprise, an idiotic hypocrite today by TP's great Amanda Terkel) was blowing a gasket that no one outside of ABC's Little George asked President Obama about ACORN this weekend), there was no concern from his lunatic self about KBR/Hailburton when his show sucked on Headline News the way it is sucking even more now (just more dummies are watching of course).

But who cares about KBR and Hailburton though, they are half the way around the world and they are "helping protect us" with our soldiers or whatever aspersions senseless simpletons believe.

And because of that, we have to go after ACORN for stealing the election last November, and putting that Obama figure in office.

Damn them and their meager funding, and to hell with their organization and illegal prostitution ghetto sex ring!

James O'Keefe, you are a hero! Jeremy Scahill could take his liberal spin somewhere else damnit.
