The Epilogue For 9/8/09: These People Have Yet To Be Given An Interview
The health insurance company CEO's, that's who. No one, not even the prodigious likes of Bill Moyers or Rachel Maddow (and you could include Keith Olbermann, even though Keith doesn't do those type of one on one interviews though) have given these people a chance.
A chance to explain how they have the power to make Senators Baucus and Conrad happily bend over backwards to them in exchange for some nice campaign pay along with good vacation money.
A chance to explain why they like to give the thumbs up to the most unmoral thing possibly on the entire planet Earth right now.
A chance to explain why they hate you, and your family, and your friends.
It amazes me how no one has grilled these cheats. They are just as shameful as the Gall Street cronies who screwed the nation over with the CDS's and all the other backroom gambling deals they had going on.
In fact, to me, they are probably worse because they facilitate in the process of someone's health deteriorating to a point where it is almost too late.
The Gall Street crooks take your money. The Insurance crooks potentially take your life.
(And for some, that word -"potentially"- is scratched out.)
And yet, just like with those CEO's, these particular ones haven't been given a forum to explain themselves to America why they do the things that they do.
Well if I had access to emailing them or calling their 20 secretaries down there in Washington DC, I would. Heck, if you have some way of contacting them, you should too and ask them the question of why they loathe their fellow uncovered citizens by denying them access to health care.
It's so funny how they have masqueraded behind all these special interests groups, teabagging idiots, and all of these pathetic sellout, lobbyist money addicted whores of the Blue Dogs, Baucus, Conrad, Blanche Lincoln, Steny Hoyer,
Lieberman, and the rest who have shamed their party and their base with their behavior.
And the reason why is because just like there Gall Street buddies, they are ashamed if they are ever made naked and exposed to an interview that will make the undecideds fully know the full anecdote.
These people have caused deaths for their dedication to the avarice. Such type of people should be given an interview to explain themselves for their "out of the norm" type thinking, should they?
Sadly, we have not seen this at all.
Maybe one day, just one day, someone will get these CEO monsters to explain why they care about money and power over the fellow human being.
Especially in this country, where most of its citizens love to brag endlessly about it "being the best country in the world."
