(Since you have TMZ and those that have made themselves listen to everything it and US Weekly report, can provide you the Tiger affair 24 hour news and all):
Now I know a team's website is suppose to sugcoat the bad news as much as possible, but.....
....they won't even bother to mention the distinction that everyone knows now:
That distinction of having the worst record to start an NBA season ever.
Lawrence Frank was a coach that long needed to go. But, thankfully for him, the organization had enough class to get rid of him in time for him not to own this dubious record.
It's a shame, because the team does have some talented players, even with Devin Harris sideline for some parts of this forgettable start. Besides the all-star Harris, Brook Lopez (who has surprised me with how he has played well in the league), amd Courtney Lee (like Harris, slowed much by injuries), the Nets have one of the more underrated rookies in Terence Williams, along with solid second year performer Chris Douglas-Roberts (who, in a perfect example of how atrocious their season has gone, had the swine flu).
But the organization right now has no winning structure at all. And with owner Bruce Ratner's Brooklyn plans being a colossal mess still, this is one team Jay-Z will not be willing to rep anytime soon.
Sepp Blatter is really an idiot. And how he had to apologize today to Ireland was absolutely comical.
Now it was an absurd hail mary for Ireland to try and be the 33rd team in next summer's World Cup. But to publicly have reports of you laughing at a country still heartbroken at what happened to it two weeks ago is beyond asinine. Especially if you are the head of soccer's international federation. And especially when that request was suppose to be kept secret .
At least Ron Artest wasn't drinking V-8 at halftime.
