Pat Kennedy, the son of the late Ted Kennedy and last Kennedy in Congress, has decided to not seek re-election for his seat in the House.

This is the 14 House Democratic figure to not seek re-election, while there are 18 Republicans in the second chamber of Congress who will do the same.
