Yesterday's Leftovers For 5/5/10: Why Is Michael Brown Even On TV?
Now normally, I want to be a little complex and snarky with the titles, but this is just a question that needed no sign of facetiousness.
How is this prominent notorious figure of how disastrous and dangerous the previous Administration was to this country somehow able to resurface on TV out of nowhere like he's just a regular conservative nutcase expert.
I mean, I thought there was universal consensus on who failed and who should never show their faces on TV with regards to Katrina? I thought at least on that very topic that all of us, from our incompetent media to even the nuts on the right, would agree that the "Heckuva Job" one was forever given an unofficially anodyne to showing his face on television again.
Of course the protagonist in this sudden reimage of a disgraceful figure is the Murdoch Comedy Network, never ever a shame to give a first platform to the nutcases they worship. No surprise there at all.
But why would the Tweety one, even in all of his Beltway isolation mentally insanity, even dare bring on Brown to his show and waste the time even interviewing his nutty self? Brown isn't a ratings magnet anyway, making it all the more absurd and fitting that Howard Dean virtually called Matthews and his producers out yesterday for even thinking about having the former FEMA on Hardball.
It was kind of funny and sad simultaneously that Robert Gibbs even had to address this in yesterday's press conference with Major Garett surrogate Wendell Goler.
But that is the current times our sad corporate media has presented us with. No one from the Right, no matter how much they have sullied their reputations forever and FOREVER, is EVER exempt from being presented as credible enough to give their opinion on something.
And that certainly now includes one "Heckuka Brown."
