11/16/06- TWD's Agenda For the Day, Part 2: They Really Do Want Us Out, Don't They?

With much thanks to nailbender at the Kos, both the New York Times and CNN have reported this:
The agreement sets June 30, 2009, as the deadline for U.S. troops to withdraw from all Iraqi cities and towns, Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said.

The date for all troops to leave Iraq will be December 31, 2011, he said.

These dates are "set and fixed" and are "not subject to the circumstances on the ground," he said.

Hahaha, "not subject to conditions" on the ground. Hmmm, I wonder where are all those fools saying we need to leave Iraq on "conditions based on the ground." Like McCain in July, and like all the conservative establishment was saying before hand.

You have got to love it when people (and that definitely includes me too, because it happens to all of us), have to eat their words. Especially people who advocated to say despite an overwhelming majority of Americans and Iraqis thinking differently.

The Agenda's Pending Schedule is in the Comments section, as always until further notice.
