They Support Single Payer Now!

The line "You just can't make this up about these ignoramuses" just cannot be uttered enough.

Minutes after Kucinich's speech, David Shuster interviewed Baby Prop user and intelligence challenged Republican John Shadegg.

Instead of regurgitating the usual government takeover and "kill the bill" line of his party that we have gone accustom to, Shadegg provided an even more entertaining and gregarious moment for the day.

Shadegg supports Single Payer!

Though the whole interview is comedy platinum (because gold is an understatement), the standout moment came at the 3:14 mark when Shadegg somehow tries to say that his party is against the for-profit health insurance companies. Watch the fun unfold:

The laughter just can't be contained for how foolish Shadegg looks. I just wish Shuster would have been able to then ask him if would sign to be a co-sponsor for Alan Grayson's Medicare Expansion Act? That would have furthered certified how epic this video are is.

Shadegg sure did sound so progressive, didn't he? Who knew Republicans are now such progressives?!

Now there are those like Jane who think Republicans will use this as a key taking point to help them this fall:
John Shaddegg gives a preview of what the GOP will be saying in the fall:

SHADEGG: You could better defend a public option than you could defend compelling me to buy a product from the people that have created the problem. America’s health insurance industry has wanted this bill and the individual mandate from the get go. That’s their idea. Their idea is “look, our product is so lousy, that lots of people don’t buy it. So we need the government to force people to buy our product. And stunningly, that’s what the Congress appears to be going along with. Why would they do that?
And though I appreciate Jane a lot, I say go let them do just as so. It will be more popcorn moments to see them explain how they truly support "death panels" over their health insurance masters. It will be another outstanding addition to their Mendacity Hall of Fame legend. In fact, it probably would be the best thing ever.

First they wanted an up and down vote for the bill, and now they want Canadian socialist government control health care.

These people really make jobs easier for the comedians of this world, don't they?
