The Real Column For 11/5/12: All Because of You

You see that folks. That is my article when I had the pleasure to work for The Raw Story, and it was highlighted on MSNBC during their coverage of the Republican National Convention. Rachel Maddow talked about it in a segment about how Mitty Binders hates that exotic equal pay thingy for the female gender.
And that was all possible because of you. Yes, you read correctly, you.
You helped write that article even without jotting down one single word.
Because of many great rational online people and collectives, especially at Daily Kos, I have been able to see every stupid Mark Halperin statement after stupid Mark Halperin statement for what it's worth, proved to folks how Peggy Noonan is a walking human lie (and external primary Ronnie lover), how Erin Burnett will always be an out of touch greedy shill for her Wall Street BF's for life, and why we all should laugh instead of getting mad at Rupert Murodch's propaganda networks and propagandapapers (because they sure are barely producing any real news).
When I came to this place for good in June 2008 after seeing the New York Daily News geefully lump the site next to the likes of TownHall and Red State on its politics page, it was in the midst of desperate Hillary superdelegate pushes, McCain humiliating himself with the green screen before half-truthing and lying all over that summer before picking sensational Sarah as his running mate, and the soul of the Democratic Party tested again with the FISA Senate vote.
And everyday that I've been on here, I've seen how it represents the true mainstream of American political coverage so very much.
At first, I was a little hesitate on even doing this post, especially since this great thing happened back in September, which feels like eons ago. A perfect example of that is Chris Christie, who was the keynote speaker for the RNC convention that night. You all know what has transpired since then, from that time to today.
So whether you're male or female, gay or straight, rational Christian or atheist, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu or Scientologist, Hispanic, Oriental Asian, southeast Asian, Hispanic or Latin, white or black, have kids or don't plan to have them, short, tall or middle sized, you have all been immense in my four plus years of being apart of this and many great online, rational communities.
Because without you, that article would have never been written. I would never be doing the real journalism required to get this country out of its current mediocre, abysmal state, and I would probably believe that CNN was "the best political team on TV" still while laughing at Keith Olbermann and thinking he was just as shameful as Bill O'Lielly, when that is so far from the case.
