TWD Sunday S-Thread #1 For 11/4/12: 2012-13 NFL Week 9 Early Thoughts and Picks (Halftime Update)

1) It's "must produce day" for Andy Dalton, but he has to get running game help. It's been a major disappointment for them.

2) Back to back home wins for the Browns? Their defense has to be just as elite as it was last Sunday, but Weeden, Richardson, and the offense need their best game of the season against a banged up Ravens side.

3) Will John Skeleton be able to get more than 10 points today for the Cards? His defense needs to play as well as it has the first few weeks of the season to even come close to upsetting Aaron Rodgers & the Packers .

4) Will the Texans be able to keep the rhythm going after dominating the Ravens with Cushing out?

5) Two great games with four future star quarterbacks who have already showed star tendencies in this league.

6) This is the time of game the Bears have lost in the past with bad let ups. They cannot lose this game today, just cannot at all versus the Titans.

7) And the same goes for the Lions too, as this is a must win at Jacksonville. Cannot lose that one as well.

HALFTIME Thoughts

1) While all the talk centers around RG III and Luck, Ryan Tannehill continues to be outstanding.

2) The Bengals defense has answered the call from Marvin Leiws, but Andy Dalton and the offense has to return the favor back on their side.

3) The Browns are competing again after the Ravens just slapped them, with Brandon Weeden being impressive with his decision making again.

4) The Lions are finally getting some running game balance, and that is allowing Matthew Stafford to finally get Calvin Johnson vertically for the first time this year.

5) The Cardinals have tried valiantly, but they can't compete with a Packers team even without the services of Jennings and Nelson.

6) Cam Newton is showing today that he is not to be written off at all. Only a fool would do that.

7) Ryan Fitzpatrick has picked the right time to finally play up to his contact, and the Bills are certainly within a chance of upsetting the Texans.

8) The Bears defense is terrific, but that was arguably the worse quarter any team in the NFL has played with what the Titans produced in that forgettable first quarter for them.
