TWD Sunday Sports Thread For 12/2/12: 2012 NFL Week 13 Early Games- For Kasandra Perkins

Dedicated to the life of Kasandra Perkins for sure, what a tragic story it is. And God bless to their 3-month-old daughter. That is the clear and only factor of importance in my mind in what will be an emotional day in Arrowhead.

The key thoughts on the early games below:

1) How much protection will Aaron Rodgers get today? This is a huge game against their rivals the Vikings, and it's going to be interesting to see if he will have time today unlike last Sunday vs the Giants.

2) Can Russell Wilson continue his fine play? While Griffin and Luck have gotten the shine, Wilson has also had a great rookie season.

3) Speaking of Luck, can he have a dominate day on the road finally against a Lions team that has to win today or it's definitely over for them. They have to run the table.

4) Can the Chad Henne era be forming with Jacksonville? Will be interesting to see if he can superb once again vs a Buffalo team still realistically alive despite appearing dead.

5) The Dolphins this season has played up to competition and fear no one, and they will give the Patriots a real test today. Joe Phiblin has at least good play calling in him, though he has much to learn as a coach.

6) It's all about momentum today for the Texans on the road. Can they dominant on defense today against a Titans team that is basically playing for pride right now.

7) Do or Dies today for the Jets and Cardinals here. But frankly, whoever wins this sorry game certainly will need to run the table to have any hopes of making the postseason.

8) Colin Kaepernick, can you be solid for a third straight week?

The Halftime Key Thoughts

1) Adrian Peterson has to be in the MVP discussion for sure. Another amazing first half to give the Vikings the lead over the Packers in Lambeau.

2) Jake Locker is just not ready to be a starting quarter back in this NFL. To be honest, I don't think he ever will be. Just no growth whatsoever despite talent around him to succeed.
