Music Thread for 9/25/08: Ed McMahon, The Sad Story He Has Become

Thanks to being apart of the foreclosure epidemic sweeping the nation (outside of you know who with you know how many houses), it has gotten so sad for Ed McMahon. So bad, that he has to subject himself to this. (And when CNN has to report on music, well, you know it is a call crash happening in text.)
Ed McMahon has an unexpected new job title: rapper
The 85-year-old former "Tonight Show" sidekick will star in two viral rap videos for FreeCreditReport.com, a financial Web site owned by credit bureau Experian.

The videos feature McMahon wearing a tracksuit, being chauffeured around Los Angeles in a Cadillac Escalade golf cart and waxing lyrical about his very public financial troubles.

"I knew I could sing the blues, but I didn't know I could rap," McMahon said Wednesday.

The videos will appear online in October.

We reported on this in the last thread, but we had to highlight it here. Now McMahon put this on himself for not paying for his house properly like he should have. Still though, the fact that he has to become something you would have never thought he will become shows how dire the situation it is for him at the moment.

A very disappointing review for Kardinal Official's album. Very disappointing.

To be real, I'm now hedging on buying "Paper Trail" after this review. But as I have said this before, through not here at the site, I'm glad that T.I decided to write out this album at least. And like we posted yesterday, that's "What's Happenin" vid totally clowned Shawty Lo hard.

Brandon Lloyd, instead of just wasting your time airing out Curtis Jackson, work on trying to save Kyle Orton and the brutal Bears offense you are apart of.

"The Listen": Musiq feat Mary J. Blige "If You Leave."

Much more tomorrow, including updates on Papoose situation and Will Smith turning 4-0.
