Music Thread #1- How Typos Can Really Make a HUGE DIFFERENCE

(via a big thanks to Brent Mazza, one of my close "peoples" for pointing this out to me last night)

(Louis Lanzano - AP)

Last night, ALLHIPHOP.com, one of the best music sites out there (because though their primary focus is, of course, hip-hop, rap and R&B, they do a really good job at covering it), had a massive typo that they didn't fix until an hour or so later in one of their news headlines.
Raper DMX Jailed in Phoenix

Yes, instead of "Rapper", they had a major gaffe on their site last night by leaving out the second "P."

Sadly, the man with the legal name Earl Simmons continues to do stuff that he long ago should have put back in his past with his latest crime. And there are no unintentional typos that distort that, unfortunately.
Rap star DMX was extradited from a Miami, Florida jail and is now in a Phoenix, Arizona jail on theft charges.
According to reports, Maricopa County Sheriffs are holding DMX in custody on a $25,000 cash bond on felony theft charges.
DMX was originally arrested by Miami police outside of a Wal-Mart, after he failed to appear at a mandatory pretrial conference related to drugs charges in Phoenix.

Thankfully, they saw that typo mistake and fixed it.

Trust me, for those who have never visited this site, ALLHIPHOP is indeed a truly great place with great people running it (especially CEO's "Grouchy" Greg Watkins and Chuck "Jigsaw" Creekmur.)

But it is the latest example of how typos, little typos, can make a big difference in your headline, or anything you write. And not in a good way.

(Note: To avoid being hypocritical, in the early days of this site so far, we have had our own share of typos as well. With that, we apologize here at The Whole Delivery if you spot one before we edit it correctly. In fact, we apologize for any typo made, whether you spot it or not. Thank you- From the Publisher and Founder of this Site, Andrew Jones)
