9/14/08- TWD's Agenda for the Day- Ready on Week 2?

Thats the question in the game of the day today in the NFL. Will Matt Cassel be ready to engineer this Patriots offense in place of the now injured Tom Brady. He will have to do that today aganist their bitter rivals (and my team), the Jets. Simply put, these two teams hate each other, from the bad personal blood between Bill Belichick and Eric Mangini to the way the Pats stomped all over the Jets at home last year on opening day.

It's hard to call this game today, because while the Jets are itching to repay the Foxboro outlet deeply for their recent beatings, the Pats are the best at building up this "Whole world aganist us mentality" theme. Only the foolish would dismiss this team and its staff, even without Brady.

But the fact remains that they don't have Brady. And though Cassel will operate the offense well in my opinion today, the loss of a Hall of Famer like Brady is just too great to overcome. Especially with a Jets team that won't show any mercy or feelings of remorse for this team.

Prediction:
Jets 20, Patriots 9.

The Agenda is located in the comments.
