The Sleep Time and Rise Shine Thread-9/14/08- Sam Loomis' Sunday Talk
Once again, while you wake up (or go back to sleep), go to church (or get ready for Sunday NFL Week 2 action), or do whatever, the Sunday Talk (and Propaganda) Shows go on. With that, here is the always gut-busting, major LOL, and truth-telling weekly Sam Loomis post at the Kos aout these shows.
And highlighted, see Chuck Schumer embarrasses lying narcisstic fool Rudy Me-liani today on Meet the Press. And also see the deterioration of Tom Borkaw as a journalist in this country.
The Rundown (Updates)
-Giuliani today on Meet the Press (Lord, I pray for this man and how much of a compulsive liar and ego he is):
"In regards to national security, the best experience is executive experience. And she (Palin) has executive experience, much more than Barack Obama."
So, not even divulging into his whole corrupt politican self, I have a question for my former disgraced mayor of NYC:
"If you say it that way, so does Sarah Palin have more experience than John McCain on foreign policy?" That must be what you meant, since all governors, no matter if they have only left the country less than three times in THEIR Lives and haven't had a position on Iraq or anything internationally until they become VP, have more foreign policy clout than any Senators. Including three senators that have left the country and visited more nations this year than Palin has done in her life.
But that's ok Rudy Ru, we understand that those comments came from your mouth. And we know what things are already in your mouth, Mr. Me-liani.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler do their amazing jobs again.
In college football yestertoday, USC certainly put a butt whipping on Ohio State with their 35-3 demolition yesterday at the Coliseum. It was the third non-conference Big Game where Ohio State was thoroughly drubbed, and it will leave some asking questions about Jim Tressel and the Big 10 once again. Tressel is one of the great guys in America, and has proven how much of a great coach he is by winning a national title for Ohio State just right after his legendary stint at Youngstown State. But after their BCS Championship blowout losses to Florida and LSU, Ohio State needed to make a statement here to show that they could play with the power forces outside of their conference.
Instead, they were walloped, as Todd Beckerman showed why he just isn't a championship quarterback while Brian Robisky just doesn't scare elite defenses like USC's. Despite their stars on defense (who didn't look good yesterday at all aganist Matt Sanchez and that force of nature of the the Trojans offense)and the return of Chris Wells (who wouldn't have made a difference yesterday), I don't think Ohio State will be in the title game for a third straight year.
The Agenda is coming later, peace.
