The 2nd Thread For 7/26/10: Not Much In The "Not Much" Point Of View

In the midst of Wikileaks massive latest revelations yesterday, most have declared what they brought to The Guardian, del Spigel, and the New York Times as "not much" or "things we kind of know already."

To be frank, that is just more driven by a disgust and negative viewpoint towards the whistleblowing organization.

The fact that information was damaging to not only the United States, but also all of NATO should not be discounted and dismissed as run of the mill. Moreover, further evidence (or correctly to be safe, the possible of further evidence) of how Pakistan and their intelligence are basically undermining all the money and aid we give them still is always essential for the tax playing public to be cognizant of.

Unless of course you are the folks in the Obama Administration and the Pentagon, incensed once again by Wikileaks messing up any positive PR mojo from insane wars.

It's no wonder why Julian Assange continues to be the most wanted man by our Pentagon. They hate him with every fiber of their beings, and this latest bombshell will certainly further the abomination that they have for that man.

So while others maybe already familiar with how Pakistan hasn't been that honest of brokers with the United States, the more information and press with how tenuous our relationship is with that country in regards to the war in Afghanistan is certainly not worthy of being relegated to "run of the mill" status. Especially when Hillary Clinton had a big photo op session of giving Energy Aid to Pakistan just last Monday.

In addition, no information about how our nation's military (and its allies) are apart of civilian killings should be received with an "tell me something we don't know."

Any information on this war, especially with how hard it is to get reliable information, is never not a big deal in my mind .

And the continued fight and disgust on these whistleblowers from the White House sure doesn't help the "most transparent Administration ever label" now, doesn't it?
