Yesterday's Leftovers For 7/19/10: The Nutcase Party's Latest Insane Vote In The House, With Stupid Stupak Joining Them
Definitely not reported at all last week by anyone is the "Flood Extension Reform Act" voted on in the House on Thursday. Sponsored by Maxine Waters, the job of this bill is self-explanatory:
Yet, 90 fools in the House thought otherwise about this legislation. The majority of the 90 voting in disapproval came from the nutcase party's side as usual. And that final total of Republicans being insane as they always are was 89, including royal crackpots Marsha Blackburn and Steve King, along with little known but just as psycho John Duncan not thinking the harsh flooding that hit their states hard would sway them in voting in favor of this bill.
But 89 does not make 90, so there had to be one Democrat being an unbelievable idiot to join in on the insane fun. Who would that be?
None other than Mr. Bipartisan C-Street man Bart Stupak of course!
So if you get a chance, you can call their offices asking why, oh why, did they basically vote against needed flood relief for this nation?
Flood Insurance Reform Priorities Act of 2010 - (Sec. 3) Amends the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 (NIFA) to extend through FY2015 the National Flood Insurance Program and the Pilot Program for Mitigation of Severe Repetitive Loss Properties. The Nashville flood from this year and the Iowa flood from two years ago are prime paradigms of how important this bill from Walters is, which thankfully passed with ease.
