Our Liberal Media, Double The Pleasure, Double The Fun!
As most know the story by now, Phil Griffin banned Kos today from MSNBC because Joe Scarborough runs his world. Greg Sargent brings up a great point of how hypocritical and utterly gutless Griffin's decision was.
Griffin, trying his best Jeff Zucker/Dick Ebersol impersonation, put out the anathema on Kos as soon as possible once Scarborough whined to him.
But Griffin and his no stringent attitude was nowhere to be found when Liz Cheney happily smeared two of his night time hosts Keith Olbermann and Ed Schultz when she had her wonderful ad calling them virtually "cowards" towards her. And Sargent makes sure that everyone remembers that :
Oh, and just for another added slap to the face to journalism today, get this today from our friends at neo-CNN:
And get this from a head honcho at the network on why Nasr was dispatched of so rapidly:
So, as Jamal Daljani says so well on Twitter :
Special interests and conservative bias (or pure hatred for anything that a hippie liberal progressive would love), continuing to plague this field formally called "journalism", now transformed into "Jokenalism."
And amazing enough, Fixed Propaganda was the #3 today in terms of doing hell hole things to the profession like they always do.
Because MSNBC and neo-CNN sure wanted to exhibit on July 7 how they desire so much to be just like their loving friend Rupert and his lackeys.
Oh our liberal media.
Update: And get what Kos says here:
What a coward Griffth is. What a continued hellhole journalism in American, especially Tv journalism, continues to fall in.

It's funny. I don't recall the chief of MSNBC publicly banning Liz Cheney from appearing on the network when she cut an entire Web video "publicly antagonizing" Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews for allegedly being too frightened to debate her about terrorism:It really is disheartening, as a fledging journalist in this field, to see how much of a royal joke news television is in this country, and how conservatives still are so far up the gluteus maxims of these people (unless they are conservatives themselves), I'm shocked colon cancer hasn't been declared yet on the networks.
Oh, and just for another added slap to the face to journalism today, get this today from our friends at neo-CNN:
CNN’s Octavia Nasr said earlier Wednesday that the controversy sparked from her tweet praising a Hezbollah cleric provided a “good lesson” on what to write online. Now it’s cost her a job.
Mediaite reports that Nasr will no longer be the network’s Senior Editor for Mideast Affairs because she wrote on Twitter of having “respect” for recently deceased Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah.
And get this from a head honcho at the network on why Nasr was dispatched of so rapidly:
Parisa Khosravi, Senior Vice President for CNN International Newsgathering, said in a staff memo that Nasr “will be leaving the company.”
“As you know, her tweet over the weekend created a wide reaction,” Khosravi wrote. “As she has stated in her blog on CNN.com, she fully accepts that she should not have made such a simplistic comment without any context whatsoever. However, at this point, we believe that her credibility in her position as senior editor for Middle Eastern affairs has been compromised going forward.”
So, as Jamal Daljani says so well on Twitter :
AIPAC @wolfblitzercnn is Kosher for CNN, but @octavianasrCNN is not.Or I guess people who love calling Supreme Court Justices "Child Goat F---ing Molesters" is also okay for sure with CNN more than the harmless Nasr wrote.

Update: MSNBC tried to talk me out of going public with this, between Griffin and another exec. But here's the thing -- neither Keith Olbermann nor Ed Schultz reached out. That spoke volumes to me, since they have my number, and I'm sure Griffin would've loved for them to intervene. But they didn't. What's that tell me? That they're fighting the good fight from the inside and have zero interest in doing Griffin's dirty work for him. They won't be able to comment on this for obvious reasons, but that doesn't mean they're not engaged.
What a coward Griffth is. What a continued hellhole journalism in American, especially Tv journalism, continues to fall in.
