The Washington Post's Eugene Robinson: America's Best Columnist

There are plenty of great thinkers who are scribes in this country, as well as there are a--holes who waste their intelligence and education by being, well, a--holes.

Eugene Robinson is certainly apart of those writers who is indeed a true class act. Between him, and Frank Rich of the New York Times, Robinson stands as the premiere journalist in this country. And frankly after those two (and maybe a few others), it is not even close.

Today, Robinson delivered another gem of an article, via the brilliant teacherken at the Kos.
John McCain is no silver-tongued orator, as he proved in St. Paul, but it's hard not to be stirred when he speaks of wanting only to serve a cause greater than himself -- until you take a closer look and see that he's running one of the most egocentric presidential campaigns in memory.

Titled "McCain as Messiah", it is indeed something that if you go ahead and read, you will really enjoy. Later in the week, we will focus on Robinson and hope that we get an interview from him.

The Post is also apart of the BS of journalism today. And so is the Times, and I'm going to check that one out in a major way.
