Saturday Cartoon Throwback Thread- Bobby's World (Thanks to Sarah Palin)
Photo thanks to Photobucket.com
While taking to the associate writer of TWD and friend James on the phone, he said something that was so true that I had to launch the inaugural "Saturday Cartoon Throwback" Thread of the week.
The "Saturday Cartoon Throwback Thread" will be a weekly thread dedicated to the classic cartoons of the past that you watched on Saturday monring back in the day., We will select at least one or two cartoons for that respective Saturday. We bring this thread up for your pleasure, beceause that is what we do at TWD, we try and provided literally, the whole delivery .
This thread is necessary, because Saturday morning cartoons blocks in on the broadcast channels, like primary care in this country, is/are/has dying/died. As infomercials and the corproate owned media' news shows and cabel influence networks talk over traditional SatAM cartoon classics like Looney Toons, X-Men, and Garfield, it is important for kids coming up to know that there was a time when Saturday morning was the only time when waking up early in the week was great!.
So back to the matter at hand, James mentions to me that Sarah Palin sounds just like the mother of Bobby from the classic Fox Kids' show, Bobby's World . As some of you know, Howie Mandel, the host of NBC's Deal or no Deal , was the brainchild of that memorable show, and he would certainly agree with this genius analogy that James thought of (though he'll probably say I'm "O.D-ing" on the accolades to him). Take a look for yourself, and remember the throwback that was Bobby's World, the first cartoon highlighted on the inaugural "Saturday Cartoon Throwback Thread." Enjoy, and thank James in the comments section.
