Sports Thread #2 for 10/8-9/08- Possible Hit Job on Adam Jones?

Though his past has placed him into getting this type of coverage, it is still rather unfair that Adam Jones is getting negative press for something that either may not have happen or is getting blown out of propotion so much that even the phrase "blown out of propotion" is offended.

Already, we have idiot reporters, like the braindead anchors on the Crayola Crayons two second sports segment on MSNBC's First Read this morning declare that "Jones is in trouble with the law again" again. Yes, he's in "trouble with the law again" despite having no chargers against him, with the likelihood of hearsay and rumors creating this report instead of true evidence? Just because "he may have been drinking?" May have?

Hell, he didn't even get charged for breathing.

You can think whatever you wantt about Jones ahd his reckless past. And to me, I believe he was gulity in Las Vegas for what went down at that strip club in 2007. However, this inane report, with no evidence of any wrong doing, just screams of "hit job" all over the place on the man formerly known as Pac Man.

If some readers aren't familiar with that specific story I'm talking about or even Jones' background, please, I urge you to go here first (or any other credible news source or piece of informatioon) before looking at any Youtube video. Either way, no matter if it's sports or celebrity news, a vendetta is already placed on certain people before the incident unravels its actual self.
